Wooden Castle

002-bWe had the BEST time yesterday.  We took a ferry to Whidby Island, ate at a delicious pizzeria, played in a wooden castle, and had ice cream.  As Hannah put it, “We did so many things this day”.  I love our family adventures!

Playing in the wooden castle was our favorite.  We played hide-and-seek.  When Wes was hiding Hannah hollered “Wesley Dyer, where are you?”  It is much cuter when she says it because she doesn’t say her “R’s” very well.

Wes and I had a competition to see who could stay standing on this wobbly wooden thing.  Not the greatest description, but it was seriously so much fun.  Anyway, we each stood at one end and bounced and rocked until one of us fell off.  Sadly, I fell off again and again.  We laughed so hard!

Jacob has started calling Hannah “GIRL”.  It is usually when he is being a big brother telling her to do or not do something.  He will say “GIRL don’t…”or “…..okay, GIRL”.  He makes me laugh.  =)

Kaitlyn is cooing and SO smiley. The kids love this and can not seem to get enough of her. I honestly don’t know how Kaitlyn can handle  so much love.  This morning they said, “Kaitlyn can almost say mom!”

What a happy day!
